Communities: Clinics and providers are divided into communities primarily
based on community referral patterns. For example Southwest Alabama consist of
Mobile, Baldwin, Monroe, Clarke and Washington counties. Selecting a community will narrow your
search to your geographical area of interest.
The Southwest Alabama (Mobile/
Baldwin) community has been pre-populated with the majority of groups and
providers within our community.
Adding
your group, satellite clinics and providers is as easy as 1, 2, 3
Step 1: Add
or edit your Group Profile
Step 2: Add satellite offices
Step 3: Add or edit your providers
A
single provider not associated with a group must also create a group profile
which contains the address and web site information.
Step 1 Add/ edit
Group Profile
- Locate your group profile by selecting Group Search
- Select community (SW Alabama (Mobile/ Baldwin)
- Then enter the first few letters or entire group name
to begin search
- Groups are displayed in alphabetical order
- Select your group if displayed
- If not displayed select “Add Group” profile
- Add your group’s NPI identifier, then add/edit group
information
- When completed “Save Group Information”
- For security, saving group information locks your
group record
- From that point forward one can view only group
information
- If edits are required after the record is locked,
please contact your community manager,

Step 2 Add/ edit Satellite Clinics
- Select Add/ edit Satellite Clinic profile
- Add NPI identifier and clinic information for
satellite locations
- When completed “Save Satellite Information”
- For security, saving group information locks your
group record
- From that point forward one can view only group
information
- If edits are required after the record is locked, please
contact your community manager,

Step 3 Add/
edit Providers
- Select Add/ edit Provider Profile
- Add/ edit provider first and last name
- Add/ edit provider phone # and fax # (fax # used in
receiving faxed patient records)
- Add/ edit providers NPI #
- Email address is completely optional
- When completed “Save Satellite Information”
- For security, saving group information locks your provider
record
- From that point forward one can view only provider
information
- If edits are required after the record is locked,
please contact your community manager,

2007 Physician Directory
Now that you have completed entering
your data, you now may use the 2007 Physician Directory as a great resource for
NPI identifiers and contact information when referring patients to other
providers
Search Options: There are two independent search
options: 1) Provider and 2) Group.
Provider:
If searching for a specific provider
- First select community to limit search
- Enter partial provider first name and/or last name
- Select Search
- All providers with alpha characters entered will be
displayed
- Select desired provider to display provider
profile
If searching for all providers for a specific “Specialty”
- Select community
- Skip provider’s first and last names
- Select desired specialty
- Select Search
- All providers within that specialty will be displayed
- Select desired provider to display provider
profile
Group:
If searching for a specific Group Profile
- First select community to limit search
- Enter partial or complete Group name
- Select Search
- All Groups based on alpha characters entered will
display
- Select desired Group to display Group profile
